Paris, July 1, 2025 – Kardham Digital, the leading digital services company dedicated to the real estate industry and a subsidiary of the professional real estate group Kardham, and Wallix Group, the European leader in cybersecurity software solutions and an expert in identity, access, and data protection, are launching a CyberSOC (Security Operation Center) service offering, a monitoring and remediation center for protecting commercial buildings against cyberattacks. By combining Kardham Digital’s building management expertise with Wallix’s cyber threat processing expertise, this CyberSOC offering, called CYBER BUILDING GUARD, guarantees building owners, managers, and more generally occupants that they can maintain a high level of security against any denial-of-service attack, cryptolocker, or hacking of the building’s active components.
Buildings are increasingly exposed to cyber threats, within an ever more demanding regulatory framework
Smart buildings, which are increasingly cost-effective, energy-efficient, and focused on the user experience, are in fact becoming more vulnerable. Caught between the promises and risks of growing interconnection to the Internet, particularly via the IoT, they are becoming prime targets. Their information systems, such as Building Operating Systems (BOS) and Building Management Systems (BMS), are increasingly connected to corporate information systems, automatically increasing the risk of cyberattacks. In this context, regulations now impose high requirements. The NIS2 directive, which came into force in October 2024, regulates more than 20,000 companies in so-called “essential” sectors (energy, health, transport, etc.) to better protect their data. The European DORA regulation, in force since January 2025, introduces new obligations in terms of technological risk management for banking and financial players. The REC (Resilience of Critical Entities) directive reinforces this framework by requiring strategic organizations to have the capacity to continue operating in the face of threats, particularly cyber threats, to their physical and digital infrastructures.
A comprehensive solution combining supervision, access control, and service continuity
As part of the creation of a trusted, resilient building solution equipped with SOC/SIEM (Security Operations Center/Security Information and Event Management) capabilities, Kardham Digital and Wallix Group have combined their expertise to launch CYBER BUILDING GUARD.
Kardham Digital relies on its two complementary software assets to provide comprehensive building hypervision:
– KD CONVERGENCE, its middleware that centralizes and unifies data from OT, IT, and IoT equipment
– KD COCKPIT, its hypervision platform for managers, consumes data to provide an overview of building operations, contextualize alerts and incidents, and enable real-time management of operations.
These solutions correlate events related to the life of a site, detect anomalies, and optimize maintenance and operational actions.
Wallix Group, for its part, provides its WALLIX PAM (Privileged Access Management) solution, designed to secure digital access and protect sensitive data on critical equipment and systems in smart buildings. Every intervention, whether carried out by a service provider or operator, on-site or remotely, takes place in a strictly controlled digital environment: connections are targeted, passwords are secure, and every action is tracked.
Based on these software assets and operational capabilities, the two companies have created a CyberSOC offering designed to ensure business continuity and effective remediation in the event of a cyberattack.
A solution designed for demanding property managers
This offer is aimed at all tenants and landlords who need to comply with NIS2, DORA, and REC regulations, those who need to interconnect their smart buildings with energy optimization solutions under the BACS Decree, as well as all lessors and owners who wish to develop their real estate assets in a trusted environment, with a view to offering a first-class occupant and operator experience.
The joint approach by Kardham Digital and Wallix Group enables real estate stakeholders to seamlessly integrate trust and cybersecurity into their buildings in a way that is understandable and easy to implement, as it does not require specific skills on the part of customers. It is available as a managed service in France and Europe, with multilingual support available 24/7.
« Dealing with this threat can only be done by a major professional in the cybersecurity market, which is why we are proud to be developing this solution with a French leader with a European dimension », says Pascal Zératès, CEO of Kardham Digital.
« This collaboration is based on a shared vision: to make smart buildings innovative, sovereign, and resilient spaces. By securing digital access without complicating its management, we offer operators real freedom of action: they can intervene remotely or on site, while operating in secure IT and OT environments », adds Jean-Noël De Galzain, CEO of Wallix Group.
